PILLOW
FIGHTS
The 40th Annual World Pillow Fighting Championships
is still the best fun to have on the 4th of July. Every year grown
men and women straddle the 'Slippery When Wet' pole and try to hang
on for a title (mostly just hang on to the pole). The audience always
has a great time watching contestants slowly slither their way along
the pole to the starting position while trying to keep their balance
and holding onto a wet feather pillow in one hand and nothing but
air in the other. If you have never tried it, it is harder than
it looks. Our Champions manage to make it look so easy that everyone
wants to have a swing at it. If you have never been to the Kenwood
Pillow Fights, you have to try it at least once. Now in it's 39th
year it is still going strong. If you are interested in entering
the pillow fights, please visit the Form
page for entries and sign up information.
All entrants are responsible for knowing and
abiding by the rules
of the Pillowfights.
