F.A.Q.

1. What time does everything start?
Footrace – 7:30 AM
Parade – 10:00 AM
Pillow Fights – 9:00 AM
Gates Open – 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM
Entertainment – 11:00 AM

2. Pets - Absolutely no pets will be allowed into the park. Of course, dogs for the disabled are welcome. Please don’t leave unattended pets in your car.

3. Fireworks – Fireworks are illegal in the Town of Kenwood and at our event.

4. Ice Chests – Sorry, no ice chests will be allowed in the park.

5. Backpacks & Bag – Are allowed but subject to search at the door.

6. Alcohol – The Kenwood 4th of July Celebrations and World Pillow Fighting Championships owns the ABC license for the day. No outside alcohol will be allowed in the park. There will be beer and wine for sale.

7. Parking – Parking is free for the day on various side streets in the town of Kenwood. There are “NO PARKING” zones around the park for security, emergency and vendor personnel.

8. Prices for various activities:
Admission:             $7.00, Kids under 12 free.
Fights Entry:          $15.00
Parade Entry:         FREE
Foot Race Entry:   Varies, please check with the Redwood Empire Runners Association.

9. Deadline for Entries – The deadline to participate in the Parade or Pillow Fights is July 1st. For Footrace deadlines, please contact the Redwood Empire Runners Association.

10. Prizes & Trophies:

Parade – Winners will receive a plaque. Overall winner will receive a $200 cash prize.
Pillow Fights – Winners will receive a plaque. World Champion women’s/men’s will receive a $500 cash prize. U.S. Champion women’s/men’s will receive a $300 cash prize.
